The Memnon team currently comprises about 50 people. Based on the “sound studio” business created about 20 years ago (1989), since 2005, Memnon has been entirely dedicated to audiovisual collections archiving services, achieving significant growth by earning the trust of numerous European and African institutions.
In order to handle this growth, Memnon developed a policy of recruiting and continually training expert staff in audio and video format transfer, and IT staff specialised in developing audiovisual software (OAI, OAIS, interoperability systems, METS, XML, etc.)
Having been forced to deal with the challenges of exponential growth since the first months of its existence, Memnon is now a structured and experienced SME, combining the rigour indispensable in managing major projects and cost control, with the flexibility needed in its business area, with the benefit of over 20 years experience in the audiovisual business.
Thanks to its 20-year history in the sector (qualified technicians and engineers) the company favours compliance with the highest quality in processing audiovisual archives in all its developments, while ensuring implementation of the industrial processes that alone ensure the quality of the data gathered; together with a cost compatible with institutional budgets.
Despite the considerable attention given to implementing systematic methods for archiving processes and to innovative tools for the proper management and promotion of audiovisual heritage, Memnon still plays the human card. This allows each of its team members to play an important role at the heart of the company.
The entire Memnon team shares a common value - passion for our business and a desire to contribute to developing our audiovisual heritage.
